KCL also known the King’s College London is a public research institution located in London, UK. KCL was founded in the year 1829 by King George IV and the Duke of Wellington. KCL which has its motto as “With Holiness and Wisdom” is the earliest recorded institution teaching medicine. The university which runs degree programs is known to have five (5) campuses in Central London, Guy’s, Waterloo, St. Thomas, and another in Denmark Hill located in south London.
KCL (King’s College London) is offering a scholarship award worth £9,000 to undergraduate students entering the 2018/19 academic session.

Eligible Course of Study: Qualified candidate will be given one scholarship to study one of the following course –
- BSc in Global Health & Social Medicine
- BA in Global Health & Social Medicine
Type of Scholarship: This is an undergraduate scholarship for degree program. To be taken in the school campus not an online study
Eligibility of Students: All students who are applying to commence studying either BSc Global health & Social Medicine or BA in Global Health & Social Medicine for the September 2018 session including EU, united Kingdom, and all foreign students are qualified to apply for this scholarship offered by the King’s College London.
Selection Criteria: The scholarship will be awarded based on the assessment and consideration of the following:
- The Academic performance of the applicant in previous years.
- Relevant experience that are related to course of study.
- A written personal essay explaining why a candidate is applying to a specific program.

Scholarship Value: The scholarship is worth £9,000 and is awarded annually. It covers only part of the annual tuition fees. Hence Applicants should ensure they are capable of covering the remaining tuition fees. Applicants will also be responsible for their maintenance, transport, healthcare, and other expenses such as registration.
Scholarship Duration: The scholarship will be durable for 4 years only.
How to Apply: It should be worthy of note that this scholarship offered by the King’s College London does not require any separate application. All students who have submitted a UCAS application on/before 6pm, 15th January 2018 will be automatically considered for this scholarship. Incomplete applications will not be considered for this scholarship award.
