100% tuition fees and living expense covered at the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi, Vietnam

The University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) is inviting both Vietnamese and International outstanding students for Master scholarships. The purpose of the scholarships provided by USTH is to motivate young and driven students who wish to experience high level of hands-on practices and internships in research and development laboratories either abroad or in Vietnam. The teaching stuff is composed of Vietnamese teachers and Doctors who have a wide teaching experience.
The Master’s scholarships – a 2-year course with 4 semesters – are available in the following fields:
- Advanced Materials Science and Nanotechnology (AMSN)
- Energy (EN)
- Space (SA)
- Water – Environment – Oceanography (WEO)
- Biotechnology- Pharmacology (BIO)
- Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- Quantitative and Computational Finance (QCF)

Scholarships are available for both Vietnamese and International students. These merit-based scholarships which can be taken in Vietnam cover the living expenses and the tuition fees 100%. In order to be considered eligible, the entrants must provide their transcript of Average good or above. Also, the entrants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree of Average good or above. It is mandatory that entrants should have a perfect command of English. It is necessary that students will provide a certificate of foreign languages.

The admission consists of 2 steps which are the preliminary section and the interview. The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in English by a jury. The invitations towards the interview will be delivered by phone or email. The results will be communicated to each interviewed candidate within 10 days by post or email. The interview fee is 100.000 VND per candidate and is non-refundable. The amount is not applicable for foreign resident students.
Students who hold Vietnamese passports will pay an equivalent tuition fee of $1900 per year. Students who come from other countries will pay an equivalent tuition fee of $4000. Those who have graduated a French Consortium university do not have to pay the tuition fee. However, the lucky winners who will manage to secure the scholarships will not have to pay their tuition and will have the living expenses covered.
