The FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship is an answer to the capital market industry which shelters mostly men while the trend to include more women in this particular industry is slowly growing. Who is eligible for the FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship?

All female applicants who are pursuing a post-graduate program at an accredited university, citizens from all countries can apply. Applicants should be enrolled and attend the program on a full-time basis during the 2017-2018 year.

ONLY THE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION OF FEMALE STUDENTS WHO ARE STUDYING FINANCE will be taken into consideration, precisely, financial risk management or/ and the use of derivatives in capital markets. In case students have opted for another discipline, they should not apply.

The scholarship awards $10,000 to female students to support their graduate-level studies.

Which are the documents required for students to submit?

The female applicants must submit two letters of reference from professors or any other academic representative with whom they have been contact in. The female applicants have to submit university transcripts from undergraduate programs. Last but not least, the confirmation of acceptance in the post –graduate program for the 2017-2018 year.

When is the closing date?

The deadline of applications will close on June 30, 2017. Those who are interested are advised to gather all the required documents and submit them until the closing date.
