Win This Great $5,000 Scholarship and Study Nursing Worry-Free

Are you committed to pursue a career in nursing?

Scholarships make it easy for nursing students to pay for their education. Like this $5,000 grant offered by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing

Nursing programs at online universities have started to proliferate in recent years. Now you can study at your own pace and when you have the time. College education online has propelled us into a new era.

You see 50 years ago, no one ever dreamed we would be able to learn new skills form the comfort of our own home. Now online universities have become the norm and you don’t see employers raise their eyebrow anymore as they hear you were a college education online graduate.

Being a student of college education online has other perks too. Like financial ones. There are plenty of scholarship opportunities out there, online students can take advantage of. And if you want to become a nurse we have three great grants we want to share with you.

The first one is called Travel Nurse Across America Nursing Scholarship. If it sounds bold, it’s because it is. This scholarship is aimed at students who are preparing to become a travelling nurse, so Travel Nurse America is offering grants up to $2,500 to sustain these efforts.

In order to apply for the scholarship, students need to be 18 years of age or older and a licensed Registered Nurse. The applicant should be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at one of the accredited offline or online universities available.

Apart from personal details, students need to send in an essay of 500 words or less in which they tell the scholarship committee a little about themselves and what makes them unique.

You can earn up to $5,000 if you apply for the Geraldine “Polly” Bednash Scholarship provided by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.

Applicants need to be enrolled in a baccalaureate or higher degree nursing program at an AACN member institution.

Also, they need to maintain at least a 2-grade point average in current program or at the last attended school.

Last but not least, we have the NURSE Corpse Scholarships which are aimed at students who have been already accepted or enrolled in a diploma, associate or graduate degree to study nursing.

Unlike other scholarships we have seen so far, applicants must demonstrate they are free of any federal judgment liens and not be delinquent on a federal debt, as well as free of existing service commitments.

The scholarship will provide money to cover tuition and other fees, other reasonable costs including books, clinical supplies and such, as well as a monthly stipend for living expenses.

However, applicants will need to submit a ton of documents including official student aid report, resume, essays, academic transcripts and recommendation letters. But in return, you won’t have to worry about the financial aspect while you study.

There’s a high demand for nurses on the job market, so if you have a love for medicine and helping people then you should really consider a degree in nursing. Especially since there are plenty of scholarships available to make your financial worries go away for good.
