Fund for Cooperation and Knowledge Scholarships at the University of Pavia

The University of Pavia, one of the oldest academic institution in the world, dates back to 1361 and ever since, it has been involved continuously in the process of shaping bright professional careers. Until the 20th century, Pavia was the only university in Milan and is currently hosting 24.000 students from overseas and Italy as well. More than 9000 teachers are actively engaged in the academic endevor of their students paying close attention and contributing to their evolution. Since 1361, Pavia has been a city-campus offering a unque Italin experience to all its students. Even today, this experience is perpetuated among future and curent students.
The University is currently offering merit based and income based scholarships to students who have a great potential and are desreving even though they are under-resourced. The scholarships are providing financial support, housing and other subsidies. One particular scholarship is the Fund for Cooperation and Knowledge (FCK) awarded to students from developing countries who wish to study one year at the university. Also, the FCK scholarship is available for UNIPV students who wish to study for a couple of months in a developing country.
Precisely, the FCK scholarships encourage the cooperation between the developing countries and Italy offering 5 scholarships valued at € 8000 for one year.
A. Before submitting their scholarship applications, students should have submitted their application for a master degree taught in English from the following list and received a confirmation of their student status at the university.

- Industrial Automation Engineering
- Economics, Finance and International Integration
- International Business and Entrepreneurship
- Molecular Biology and Genetics
- World Politics and International Relations

C. Also, only those born on or after January 1, 1982 will be considered as eligible.
The value of the FCK scholarships
As we have mentioned before, the FCK scholarships are valued at € 8000 for one academic year. The scholarships will cover the travel expenses to Italy and back and also the tuition fees.
The closing date of the application process
As we have mentioned before, the applicants have to be admitted to a Master’s degree program. Check the list from above. The scholarship must be submitted with the required documents by e-mail until June 12, 2017.
