Rotary Yoneyama Foundation 140,000 Yen/Month Scholarships for International Students 2018/2019

Brief Description

The Rotary Yoneyama Foundation is offering all foreign students a scholarship award to pursue their undergraduate, Master’s, or Doctoral degrees in a Japanese higher institution.

This scholarship is offered annually by the Rotary Yoneyama Foundation and all international countries are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Taking as an opportunity to visit and know more about Japan is kind of cool though.

Application Deadline: The Application deadline for this scholarship is 16th October 2017. So be sure to apply before the 1:00 Pm (Japanese time) or the applicant’s application for this scholarship offered by the Rotary Yoneyama Foundation will not be considered eligible.

Host Institution/Country: This scholarship offered by the Rotary Yoneyama Foundation will be taken at Japanese Universities or Graduate school in Japan that offers degrees programs. If any online institution will be involved it must be an accredited online school. (Though it is not certain if any online accredited school will be involved in this scholarship)

Eligible Courses: All the courses offered by Gradate schools in Japan offering degree programs and Japanese Universities.

The Rotary Yoneyama Foundation is widely known as Japan’s largest private scholarship organization. To be considered eligible for this scholarship, the applicant has to find and apply to any Japanese University before applying for this scholarship. While applying for this scholarship offered by the Rotary Yoneyama Foundation, you must submit your admission application letter/graduated Japanese school in order to be considered eligible for this scholarship offered by the Rotary Yoneyama Foundation.

Type: With this scholarship offered by the Rotary Yoneyama Foundation, you can pursue your dream career by earning a bachelor’s, master’s, or a PhD degree.

Number of scholarship: The Number of scholarships is several.

Value of Scholarship: For the first year, a supplemental sum of 400,000 Yen is given to successful applicants upon their arrival to Japan. After then, the following amounts are given monthly to the Rotary Yoneyama Foundation scholars.

• Undergraduates are given 100,000 yen per month.
• Masters students are given 140,000 yen per month.
• Doctoral students are given 140,000 yen per month.

Duration of Scholarship: The scholarship will last throughout the period of study of any chosen course of the student.

Important Note: The Rotary Yoneyama Foundation scholars should arrive in Japan preceding to the month of their admission. No matter the reason, if they do not arrive in Japan by the month that their scholarship will commence, they will lose their eligibility. So please take note!
