Full Tuition HEU Scholarship for International Students in China at Harbin Engineering University

Harbin Engineering University (HEU) previously named Harbin Military Engineering Institute was founded in 1953 and is based in Harbin, in the proximity of the beautiful Songhua River. With a major personnel training and scientific research in the shipbuilding engineering field, HEU is perceived as one of the first key universities in the “211 Project”. The 211 Project is a project of National Key Universities and colleges that was launched in 1955 by the Ministry of Education and aimed to raise the research standards of high-level universities and cultivate the development of the socio-economic strategies.
HEU is offering a Full Tuition Fee scholarship welcoming undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. International students to apply for it. The students will be delighted to find that HEU is offering 150 degree programs from which 48 are lectured in English.
Who is eligible to receive the award? International students who have a good ability in scientific research are welcome to apply, however only those who have excellent academic results (75 of 100) are considered.
The value of the scholarship
HEU is offering tuition fee and living allowance as it follows. The undergrad students will be receiving 2000 RMB per month while the master’s students will be receiving 3000 RMB per month and the Ph.D. students, 3500 RMB per month. HEU is offering two types of scholarships, the first-class scholarship where a full tuition fee is offered and the second-class scholarship where half of the tuition fee is offered.

The admission process
The entrants must download and fill all the application forms which are the HEU admission form and HEU scholarship form. They both can be found here http://studyheu.hrbeu.edu.cn/en/ShowArticle.asp?ArticleID=1183
Along with these documents, they should also provide their highest diploma. In case the university students are employed, they should provide a pre-graduation certificate or an employment certificate. The entrants must submit their transcripts (in Chinese and English) and the Ph.D. students are required to submit both their transcripts of Bachelor’s and Master’s courses.
A study or research plan is also necessary to be submitted in less than 800 words. O copy of the passport and the language requirements must be included: Chinese courses: HSK-4, English courses: TOEFL (80)/ IELTS (5.5).
