Oxford-Allan and Nesta Ferguson African Graduate Scholarship

Good news for ordinarily residents in Africa who want to advance their studies enrolling in a Master of Environmental Change and Management! The Oxford-Allan and Nesta Ferguson African Graduate Scholarship offers an amazing opportunity to outstanding bachelor’s African students which cover course fees, college fees and a grant for living of up to £14,553.

The award is available for the full duration of their fee liability for the chosen course. The scholarship is funded by the University and the Allan & Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust. The competition is extremely high since only one scholarship is awarded; however this aspect should be a determination for all brilliant African students to set for more and fight for their dreams.

The scholarship is only Tenable at Linacre College. Linacre is a graduate college founded in 1962 where most of the students are in their 20s or 30s having different nationality backgrounds. Linacre is taking students in almost all subject areas encouraging a vibrant and international community. The full list of courses can be accessed here https://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/graduate/colleges/linacre-college?wssl=1#content-tab–2 where students can check the admission criteria and closing date for each subject they select as their future program of study.

IMPORTANT NOTE! Eligible applicants will be taken in consideration for this scholarship no matter which college they state as their future place of study on their graduate application form. But successful applicants will be transferred to Linacre College in order to take up the scholarship. It is extremely important that students read the admission criteria, the rules of applying for their chosen subject and respect the deadline. There is no need for a separate application process for this scholarship. In order to be considered, students must submit their application for graduate study by the relevant January deadline of the chosen course.

Students will be considered automatically if they are applying to start a new graduate course and they have been offered a place after consideration of their submission. It is important that their application is not placed on a waiting list or held back after the January admissions deadline. No student will be considered if they do not meet the eligibility criteria. The results will be announced on May 2018.

We wish everyone the best of luck and we hope that this competition will stimulate all to give their best.
