Associate degree students apply to win this $12,500 grant

Get funding for your associate degree with the grant offered by TheDream.US

Associate degree students can also secure funding for their education, they just need to find and apply for associate degree scholarships

There are many variables involved in whether a person attends college and one of them is whether you should apply for an associate degree online or offline as opposed to a full four-year degree program. To get you started on the path deciding the right course for you – you need to consider a few questions. For example, ask yourself: I am going to pursue online education or traditional one and financially what can I (and my parents) afford right now? These are important questions which will help pave your way into adulthood that need to be answered before you proceed even further.

Now if it happens that you are financially constrained – you might want to consider community college. Despite not getting such a good rep, community colleges (home of the associate degree online or offline) are an incredible valuable part of the higher education system.

Like we often say of online colleges, they serve the community at large, and can help you meet educational goals in just two years by providing certification in a trade or professional field. Community college might also be right if the cost of tuition or expenses for a full four-year program at a state or private college doesn’t currently fit your budget. It should also be noted that online colleges also offer associate degree, so if you want to save even more, you can choose to live at home instead of spending more cash on housing and study materials.

But even if you’re trying to save up as much as you can, community college could still prove to be too expensive for you. In that case you might want to start thinking about applying for scholarships.

Scholarships are a great way to earn money for college, which you don’t have to pay back once you are done with your studies. What’s more you can apply for as many scholarships as you want and if successful combine them to pay your school tuition.

Below you’ll find a scholarship opportunity for associate degree students. It’s offered by TheDream.us and awards up to $12,500 annually to students enrolled in a two-year program.

In order to be eligible to apply you must attend one of the TheDream.us’ partner institutions. You can find the full list on program’s official website.
