The $4000 Non-Resident Scholarship at the University of Massachusetts, Boston

Renowned for its model of excellence to which urban public universities rightfully relate to, the University of Massachusetts is opening its gates to outstanding students offering them a variety of scholarship options. Due to its academic excellence and the variety of scholarship programs, university’s legacy is continued by a growing student body of 17,030 undergraduate and graduate students. The University includes 11 colleges and schools and offers 82 undergraduate programs and 126 graduate programs.

The University of Boston is offering several scholarship programs for resident, international, and continuing students. Scholarships for continuing students range from $250 to $5000 and this opportunity is being offered to a limited number of students. For this scholarship are eligible only those students who have commenced their studies at the University of Massachusetts. They must apply a semester in advance. Those who are seeking for a spring semester scholarship must apply in the fall semester. Students currently enrolled at the University of Massachusetts who wish to learn more about the scholarship are invited to address their questions at merit.scholarships@umb.edu.

Continuing students can complete their application here https://umb.academicworks.com/users/sign_in and be considered for the $5000 scholarship. Only students who meet the following criteria will be considered for the scholarship; they must be full-time, in-state, undergraduate students who have completed 24 credits at the University of Massachusetts at the time of the application. Entrants must have had a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher. It is important that students complete the general application by 11:59 pm on September 17th 2017.

The University is also offering The Non-Resident Scholarship worth up to $4000 and is open to qualified out-of-state students as well as international students. For this particular scholarship, students must be full-time out-of-state or international undergraduate students who have completed 24 credits at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. They must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Students can complete a general application accessing this link https://umb.academicworks.com/users/sign_in. The closing date for The Non-Resident Scholarship is October 3rd 11:59 p.m.
