The Taking Root Scholarship Program is appropriate for citizen or legal students of the U.S. The scholarship is applicable for high school seniors who plan to enroll in a full-time undergrad study at an accredited two or four-year University or college for the 2017/ 2018 academic year.

This scholarship is dedicated only to high school seniors who plan to pursue a forestry course of study in the following fields: Environmental Science, Horticulture, Forestry, Plant Sciences, Entomology or any other related major.
