No funds to INVEST in your FUTURE?

In a society that moves at such a fast pace, we often find ourselves doing two or three things at the same time. So imagine how hard it would be if you wanted to go back to school, while holding on to a day job too. In the modern world it doesn’t have to be so complicated anymore.
With the advent of online degree programs anyone can study from the comfort of their own home, while doing something else in parallel. It’s not the ideal scenario, but if you are passed the college going age, it’s unlikely you’ll have the necessary time to focus solely on your studies. That’s why online colleges are so important. Studying with an online degree will help you reach your dream, without forcing you to disengage from your current lifestyle.
What’s more, there are plenty of scholarship programs available that will make the financial aspect of studying weight less. Traditionally people tend to believe online colleges don’t offer scholarship programs, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Online degree programs might actually be the best place to start looking for funding.
Now if you are an African student who wants to build a better future for himself/herself, you need to know that there are plenty of international scholarship programs that offer to cover your living expenses, as well as education costs. Students looking to enroll with offline or online degree in the future, should not forget to take these bursary opportunities into account.
One such chance is offered by the University of Sheffield. Students from South Africa, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana or Namibia are eligible to receive the grant. Applicants must demonstrate an interest in pursuing an MA International Development, MSc Environmental Change and International Development and MPH International Development.
The University will offer a full tuition fee waiver, maintenance at the University accommodation and a monthly stipend.
It doesn’t matter whether you are planning to study with one of the traditional or online colleges out there, you have plenty of bursaries waiting for you. One of the most exciting is not even offered by a university, but by an independent organization. The Wells Mountain Foundation awards from $300 to $3,000 annually through their Empowerment Through Education scholarships.
Students will have to be pursuing a field that will help their local communities including medicine, health sciences, law, education, social work or agriculture.
The ideal candidate for the bursary is a male or a female from a developing country who is looking to study in their country or another country in the developing world for an offline or online degree.
They should also have plans to live and work in their own country after graduating from one of the many available offline or online degree programs available. On top of that, she or he needs to have volunteered prior to applying to the scholarship.
If you want to take advantage of this scholarship you best hurry up because the deadline is on April 1, 2017. However, there’s plenty of time to put together the application. We wish you good luck.
