Awesome Student Scholarships for Women Pursuing Higher Education

Are you a girl considering applying for a traditional or online university? If that’s the case, we’ll share a piece of information that will help you pay for your offline or online bachelor degree tuition. We all want to study for free, right? Well luckily thanks to the many student scholarships available, now most of you can get your higher-education funded.

What’s more if you are a girl looking at the one of the many offline or online degrees available to pursue, you have even more options. There are dedicated student scholarships for ladies who want to take advantage of higher education in order to make their existence more meaningful. So if you too want to make your life better, keep reading to find out about some of the best bursary programs open to women and to women only.

Ann Liguori Foundation Sport Media Scholarship

The New York Women in Communication foundation is willing to award $2,500 annually to a junior or senior student enrolled with an offline or online university. Note that you need to be a resident of Connecticut, New York, New Jersey or Pennsylvania in order to apply.

The bursary is awarded to ladies who will be majoring with an offline or online bachelor degree in journalism and communications. All applicants must demonstrate an interest in sports and athletic events in order to be considered for the grant.

The bursary is awarded in the honor of Ann Liguori, a nationally celebrated and loved sports radio and television personality.

Ruth Whitney Scholarship for Glamour

This particular bursary is awarded to female students who are perusing one of the many offline or online degrees in magazine journalism or publishing. Applicants must demonstrate an experience in writing, reporting or design.

The foundation gives up to $5,000 a year to students who can demonstrate a grade point average of 3.2 or higher. Once again you need to be a resident of Connecticut, New Jersey, New York or Pennsylvania in order to be eligible to apply.

What’s more, students studying with a traditional or online university who will become awardees, will be given the chance to visit a fashion-focused magazine a spend a week with the editorial team.

Customized Girl Scholarship

This scholarship contest aims to provide a bit of extra money to be used for educational purposes. Like with the other student scholarships outlined above, applicants need to be an undergraduate or graduate students with one of the many offline or online degrees available today. But the contest is also open to high school seniors interested in enrolling with a traditional or online bachelor degree in the near future.

eRetailing awards five grants annually – $500 each. In order to apply for the cash prize, ladies need to follow @customizedgirl on Twitter and post a tweet (limited to 140 characters) in reply to one of the topics posted on the application site.

Additionally, students need to share their statement including the hashtag #statement4theworld in order to maximize exposure. The last tweet will be accepted on December 31, 2016 so you best hurry up and figure out what you want to say.
