To start off about any information about the Jim Ovia Scholars Program remember that as of 2016 all applications are only accepted online.
Which students will the Jim Ovia Scholars Program be awarded to? Any Nigerian student from a background where the economic growth has been unsatisfactory. With the Jim Ovia Scholarship, these students will be able to accomplish a higher education within the Nigerian workforce. How the scholarship uses the tactical term ‘money for college’ is by issuing out a massive sum to cover the student’s overall expenses. Even over time the chance to pursue various online universities or online colleges will become reality.
Now undergraduates as well as graduates have the right to apply for the Jim Ovia Scholarship. As stated when it comes to an undergraduate student, they must have achieved some sort of academic success yet come from a lower income/economically under appreciated background from Nigeria. As an undergraduate student from Nigeria, it is seen as your duty to help and repair the future of the country. More than likely showing an online degree would benefit within the undergraduate position.
For a graduate applying for the Jim Ovia Scholarship, one must already have successfully acquired a bachelor’s degree. And as the same in the paragraph above, the student will be seen as an aided individual for their country’s progressive growth towards the future.
Meanwhile, researching online universities or online colleges may make another impact when going for a renewal towards the Jim Ovia Scholarship. When it comes to filling out an application form, leave no line blank. For instance if you received an online degree towards economics, write it down. Or an online degree for Government, Anthropology and the list goes on and on, write it down on the submission form.
Another note, all applicants must be a citizen of Nigeria before submitting.
Each year up to 100 spots are up for grabs for the Jim Ovia Scholarship Award. Again this is for each year, so if the previous year a submission of yours was not accepted, please resubmit and attempt again. Your chance at a brighter future is within reach.
Another advantage is the fact that there is no application fee what so ever. The Jim Ovia Foundation recognizes that if at any point within their submission process you are asked to submit a fee, contact them through their enquiry.
As part of the application process a vaild I.D. will be needed. As well as these list of items below:
